I was reading the Ode written by Shweta Bachchan on her dads( Mr. Amitabh Bachchan) 73 Birthday, and in that one of her lines which made me read again and again was, " when Louboutin sends him shoes, he addresses them "To God"! Wow... she covered his life why he is so important not only to her but to all around,..with so many "Because s" and this above line was one of them. Same way I heard cricket fans all over the world talking about Mr. Tendulkar as GOD! They actually equal him with God, the creator of the universe.That much of love and devotion, for this youngster and his sports achievements. A while ago I visited the Vellore Golden Temple , and in the Sanctum Sanatorium along with the Goddess Sri Laxmi, the photo of the originator of the Place, Sri Shakti Amma again a young human being very much around, means he is as equal and important as the Goddess. Who is God then? Do people make God, or he exists? Is he just like you and me, or Mr, Bachchan, Tendulkar..or any such renowned ones? Is he Prophet Mohammad like the Islam says? Or Jesus, Christ, Emmanuel like Christians say? Or Ganesha, Balaji, Ma Durga, Mahalaximi, Ram, Krishna, and 100 of other such Gods and goddesses Hindus worship in Temples? If so why these communal violences and riots all around the world? I believe in God and I give him any picture I like, but being a Hindu I try to give a Hindu Image. I don't argue or discuss, on this topic if God is there or not! I definitely believe there is some one above us who created all these and in time of happy or distress moments I think of him, thank him, ask for his help, offer my prayers, and visit him/her in temples. I love the scripts and stories narrated on each one of these Gods,..Bible, Geeta, or Koran. I try to read as much of these as I can as guidelines for a good life, and living. Most commonly used words like OMG ( oh My God) Or God Knows ... are used by one and all. who ever is in the users mind. In philosophy they say that there are four kinds of people worship God, namely the man in distress, the seeker for knowledge, the seeker for wealth, and the man of wisdom. The first three expect some fruit and reward in return but best ones are single minded worshipers. God attends to all in spite of not because of! So this says God reaches to all, what ever is the requirement, material, metaphysical , mystical, or philosophical. Which ever religion, cast, group or tribe. So who knows the truth of God then? I read a beautiful simple story of a king who wants to know the following...1. Where is God? In what Direction is he? What does he do? A small little girl offers to answer the king and clear his doubts like this....She asks him if it is possible to show the presence of curds,butter,and Ghee in Milk, though all these are in it. 2.How can one pin point the direction of the glow from a lamp?3. The little girl exchanges places with the king as an answer to his 3 question what does God do...she issues orders for the king to be banished,explaining that this is the way God Functions.Infinite is the nature of the ultimate truth. Simple right? So any one can be God, or no one can be like God! You can make movies on him, equal any one with him, have faith, or don't! He is not going to change, be angry,upset, or happy and elated. Why? Because he is God, he is simple, he is reachable,at the same time he is not reachable. Now don't you agree God knows it all !!??
