Hey, we are 2 ladies and want to travel ,where can you send us, inside India? was my question...!!Hmmm..It is not so safe for 2 ladies to travel around in India. But yes its not so tough any where else was the reply from my travel agent..! That's how my travel plans started off, just 2 of us friends initially then to a group of 5 ladies and to Thailand, the land of smiles. Yes that's how it is been shown and they advertise the tourism! The land of smiles? I don't know if the attitude was only to Indians, but we mostly got very indifferent attitude, and even unfriendlier behavior where ever we were approached, and in some places where we dealt!(especially while shopping..ha)...but I must tell...travel guys were right..women tourists are safe. At least no one tried to take us for a ride or take advantage of our being women..unlike what we see happening in India right now! Why is that? Sex sells in Thailand!..simple! Sex is easily available in the market, and its legal, open, to some extent.. free( to watch the open displays)! Women are every where..from transvestites(men in women's bodies?) at Alcazar show in Pattaya to women dancing and showing their bodies in walking street. No big deal all legal was what they seem to say! Sadly, where in India even a girl child is not spared but raped as we are reading and seeing news, situations like these were a clear change of scene for us.We had to breath deep and say Wow! We in fact puzzled many of our tour guides that we were an all women's group from India, as normally its all Indian men they see, coming to Thailand, we know now what the obvious reasons are! We did not see any male bars or men in action,though we did inquire, just out of curiosity if you believe me! Anyways walking in the Walking street, going for the adult sex shows, Thai massages, having good time on the beach even at 10 in the night, or dropping dead shopping in night markets till late hours..no where we felt insecure, uncomfortable. No eyebrows raised, no catcalls followed at our backs...! We were in what ever clothes we wished to be in.Gosh..it was such bliss...just to be Human not women, for a change,on this earth, Such freedom is what we deserve,what say? Our 2 days in Pattaya, 3 days in Phuket and 3 days in Bangkok were such fun filled,totally packed, activity plus shopping expeditions, which we all are gonna cherish for our life times.I do have a huge complaint about the locals not even trying to speak English being high in tourism! Even though educated...most of them cant speak beyond Thai..so had great difficulty in reaching to them. Awesome food, ( heavenly lemon grass, and Coconut milk...slurp..the tom yum!) All in all great 8 days of pure unlimited fun and lotsa sex to watch .. buy it, or leave it..cool..right?God Bless this wonderful country, May be that's why they say it is land of Smiles...since sex sells?
